Basically you just make a symlink in your Downloads folder to the folder you want to browse. Then if you have advanced file system enable just press ctrl-o and click the symlink.

  3. Success with Facebook and taking a picture via webcam!

    1) I had to reconfigure the settings here: Adobe - Flash Player : Settings Manager - Peer Assisted Networking Settings panel (Peer assisted networking panel) and select Facebook in the scroll menu to 'Allow.'

    2) Change the Facebook settings to allow photos to be viewed under the privacy settings. (I have custom settings.) Also check your Account Settings. My 'our status, photos, and posts' is set to other.

    3) Sign-out of Facebook and restart the tab. Sign-in and done. ...

    1) I got my webcam working with Facebook to record live video. I downloaded an Adobe flash extension to work with Facebook and change my privacy settings in Facebook to allow my webcam. Restarted and got live video. I still cannot take a live picture with my webcam and F/B though. Stilling working on that.

    2) I was able to access the actual SSD & my phones SSD after I installed the Picnik photo application. I then browsed for a photo on Facebook and a new window popped up that ...
  5. Crash: The OS Story.

    by , 12-23-2010 at 01:41 PM
Well, it happened. Another first. Google Chrome OS has crashed. I had to hard start it by pressing down the power button for at least 10 seconds (That seems to be an average for any computing device) and reboot it. After reboot it worked. Not sure why it froze. It froze at 0603 CST on 23/12/2010. It performed like it would if the browser was on another OS, crashed. Not sure why it crashed.
