The owner of a Macbook, I really only applied for the pilot program to "test" and get a feel for what the OS is all about; apparently, that isn't much. An avid and devoted Chrome user (on my Mac), I feel there's not much else going on with the CR-48 than what I can already get technically for free on my Macbook, with all the same features (save one, very minimal Gtalk web app that only runs in Chrome OS).

Maybe I need to use it a little more before I make a final judgment, but with this current "32GB iPod Touch for your CR-48" deal I'm being offered, I might just trust Mr. Jobs over the big G for now... all I know is that when the official Chrome OS retail units start popping up, I'll be hard-pressed to logically justify a price point any higher than $300. And that's generous.
