To err is human, to really foul up requires a computer!

Now if I could only figure out why sound is muted.
    You're welcome.
Can you unmute it by pressing F10 and F9?

This works as a temporary fix until I close the lid or the screen saver activates:

    Ctrl-Alt-T
    Shell
    sudo amixer set 'Speaker',0 on
    exit
    exit

This is supposed to be permanent but does not work for me for some reason:

    to edit (alsa-default.conf)
    Ctrl-Alt-T
    shell
    sudo mount -o remount,rw /
    sudo qemacs
then go to /etc/init/alsa-default.conf to do this, use your arrow keys,
add these two lines at the end of the text :
    exec amixer sset 'Speaker',0 100%
    exec amixer sset 'Speaker',0 off
Then Ctrl-X, Ctrl-C and Y to save the file
    exit
    exit

I found both of these at Issue 308 - chromiumos-hexxeh - HP Mini 110-3100 - Mute Key On All The Time - Hexxeh's builds and modifications to the ChromiumOS project - Google Project Hosting

Any ideas...and thanks again for the Flash fix!

When I clicked on the wiki link he posted yesterday they went to a cialis ad page.
Today the link is directing correctly.

    Cheers

Never mind, It's been fixed. I contacted Hexxeh and he said his wiki was vandalized. It's all to rights now.

    Cheers, Dan
