okay so a while ago i decided to install ubuntu on my cr48 using these instructions: http://chromeos-cr48.blogspot.com/2011/04/ubuntu-1104-for-cr-48-is-ready.html

i tried to boot back into chrome os and that worked. but for a long time every now and then while i was using my chromebook it would suddenly turn off, and when i turned it back on it would show the chrome os is missing or damaged screen. i would then pull the battery and and everything would be fine again, until the next time it happened. id say it at least happened once every 2 days.

so it happened again, and now i ONLY get the missing or damaged screen. nothing else, cant get into it. when i creat the disk and put it it, it says the chrome os could not verify it. ive tried it with like a billion sd cards, and still nothing.

so how do i get back to stock?
