    Windows 8

    Hello.

    To get it to work with windows 8:

    In PortProvider.cs

    make this change
    Code:
          public PortProvider(IEnumerable<Config.DeviceConfiguration> usbDevIds)
            {
                Port = new SerialPort("COM3", 115200);
                Port.ReadTimeout = 2000;
                Port.WriteTimeout = 2000;
            }
    then change your config file to get rid of the x86 parts.

    Hey everyone! I'm running Ubuntu 11.04 on my CR-48, with the Luigi BIOS. I have the Verizon connection set up, but I want to be able to use my AT&T SIM card.

    So I set up a new connection that dials *99# and has username WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM

    Whenever I do a traceroute, however, it looks like I'm being routed through the same old Verizon servers. So am I really on the AT&T network or is this thing still connecting to Verizon?

    EDIT: OK, I am now sure that it is not connecting to AT&T's network because when I click on the network manager icon in the top right, it shows my connection, which is labeled AT&T connection 1, but next to that label there's this: (Verizon EVDO). So why is the chromebook not recognizing my SIM card?

    I tried to clarify the steps for getting the Gobi 2000 working properly under Windows 7 x86 and included links to all of the necessary files here:

    Hope this helps.
