Yeah I am waiting til SSD's come down in price too before installing one in my mini. I am still very pleased with my purchase though and the only thing I regret is not going bigger. I should have gone for the 15 R I wanted....Oh well...This machine is awesome and the battery life is incredible!
New to Chrome, but loving it here on Cloud 9!

I have a Dell Mini 9. My son bought it and made a Hackintosh. After he tired of that he gave it to me. I upgraded the RAM to 2 GB and installed a Bluetooth internal adapter. I looked at upgrading the 16GB SSD to 32 but read somewhere that really sucks the battery. Battery upgrades are a real abortion so I avoided it. That's where I am. I ran XP for a while but disk was tight and it was a tad slow. I have since installed MEEGO and successfully built a Broadcom Wireless driver and I am pretty happy with it. I am thinking about trying ChromeOS again. I tried the live version but ran into the Broadcom Wireless driver problem. If I can get all the build tools I might give it a try.
