Will they be sending out free Ipad 2's for beta testing? If not I probably won't get one...

I am no fan of apple, but this device looks solid and the UI is really simple .Now by simple i mean you can hand this to a non tech savvy person and they can navigate it easily . I love how they kept the price the same .I just might pick one up !

apple's only saving grace is that the hardware's always good. too bad the software's garbage. the fact that you MUST use iTunes is really unfair to consumers.

I use itunes on my PC and love it. It's easy to rent a movie, documentary, buy music (for those who still do that) and it's a nice UI.

I agree with some of your comments that Itunes is too resource intensive. I wonder if Apple will do something about this any time soon. Even so, if you have a fast enough PC, you won't notice the slow start-up time for itunes.
