    Probably because China is so poor (you see the same pattern in American schools with old Windows versions and for that matter old computers). And also because the Chinese government probably won't allow the people to use up-to-date technology (damn commies).

    Unfortunately work uses ONLY IE, though at least it's version 8 (since we're using XP, that's the last version ever to be available too). When I asked about what we were going to move into (alternate browser or upgrade people to 7 and continue updating IE) the word was we're sticking with IE (thus we'll be upgraded eventually to Windows 7 or thin clients to Server 200.
    To err is human, to really foul up requires a computer!
