BlackBerry is the most common business phone for most companies, and I have a feeling that won't change for quite a while. You can't get security and control (from the company's perspective) from anywhere else like you can from a BlackBerry using BES. It's up to the company as to what to actually lock down, and they have a LOT of room to play with. Also, I love the keyboards, they are definitely among the best out there.
Well, actually it all depends on you yourself which platform does suit you well.. But for me iOS and Android is still the leader among all..

the LTE Thunderbolt that is getting higher downloads with 4G than I can get on my WIFI
Yes, it's fast.. I mean, Super fast! LOL! 4G is something good that missing in my country.. It does have one, but at certain area only.. I watched it on youtube comparison between standard 3.5G and 4G at smartphone.. And it's totally different.. Absolutely..

I'm really curious about what the iOS users think about CromeOS. Anyone?

I picked up a HTC Desire in December 2010. Iam really getting into this android system (2.2) and smartphone thing. I have come to realize that there is not a whole lot that I cannot do on this phone. I could conceivably replace my laptop??....NAHHHH...NO WAY...NOT YET...

I think I'm backwards. I work in IT. I love technology. But I'm on a no contact cheap bottom of the barrel T-Mobile plan with a basic Nokia. It can text, take bad pictures, and sometimes receives calls. I love everything about it, including the no-data monthly price.

Maybe it's because I'm cheap. Maybe it's because I can't stand small screens for productivity. Maybe it's because I always have a laptop with me.

Either way, I don't have a smart phone, and my desire to have one is so little it's unreal.

    You are not alone.

I'm in IT but I have a cheap-*** phone, not because I don't want one I just don't want to pay for the data package (on TOP of the phone). Heck, the last computer I have bought was in 2000, and since then been surviving on "toss-aways" running Linux (mighty well I might add).

Although I wonder how much MORE I am spending by using the less-efficient old "toss aways" instead of slurging on some juice-sipping nettop. ??
To err is human, to really foul up requires a computer!

yes, no way yet for this time being as phones don't have proper office editor, etc.. So, I don't think phone will do in the nearest time at least.. But, tablet will do and almost will.. With combination of computer and phone features (not all) I think there will be less people to bring laptop everywhere except it's ultimate portable laptop (thin, light, and got speed! )

I think you guys should give a try to have a smartphone for once in your life. No need to tie up with any telco. Just give it a try and then maybe you will realize about "Yeah, this gadget is helpful too!"

I did. I had a BlackJack II a while back. It had Windows Mobile on it, which is simply a bad joke, but even when it did work I still found myself taking the time to lug out my laptop if I wanted to do something significant on it.

I can certainly see why they're convenient and popular. But unless I can get unlimited data for about 6 bucks a month, I just don't see the point in investing in an expensive phone and more expensive data plan.

Maybe I'm just a cheap bastard. But I have an excuse, as I'm on the verge of taking out my first mortgage. Quick, someone stab me.
