Pros:
Scores 50 more points in the peacekeeper bench mark. Now up to 1611 from 1558.
720p enabled in Youtube (see also cons)
Scrolling seems to be smoother
Cons:
720p, 480p are choppy in full screen mode. Seems to need some optimization for the new version of flash
Side scrolling is gone
Other:
Volume controls still work fine here
forward, back and reload keys still work fine here.
Will test some more after I get back from Bass Pro.
Had the volume bug pop up again today which in turn had me do the initial setup again. This time around though my battery time calculation broke.
With Flash 10.1 r103 and GPU Accelerated Canvas 2D enabled, Hulu worked.
After I disabled Flash 10.1 and enabled 10.2 r154, I had to disable GPU Accelerated Canvas 2D for Hulu to work and the video seemed smoother.
Mic and Camera still work for me in Google Video Chat.
one of the pros is The ability to arrange the position of the apps.. Im not sure if im behind on this but i just wanna mention it
- Boot time has been improved to 11 sec flat. When I first got the Cr-48 in December, it would take 14 sec.
- I can confirm that disabling Flash 10.1 and leaving 10.2 enabled leads to greatly improved YouTube and Hulu performance.
- After disabling 10.1, Grooveshark works! Pandora works regardless.
Looks like this update wasn't bad after all!
