How about some good ol' text-based Interactive Fiction games from Infocom? (I know, I know.) Yes, games that you play by typing!

My (then not-yet) wife and I wasted huge amounts of time in college trying to solve these kinds of games. This was back when the Commodore 64 was considered state-of-the-art for personal computing.

(Use the list on the right, as they use JavaScript, not Java.)

I wonder if you can use the developer version to install a real game like unreal tournament for linux, flash games get choppy when theres so much anti-aliasing and low quality just looks bad...REAL gaming is where its at.

Has anyone used any cloud gaming service like Onlive ? Currently its available for only Mac, PC with a browser plugin and TV via a small microconsole. Hope to see a similar service on Chrome OS soon or maybe Onlive could make a plugin or extension for it. Playing Batman Arkham City on your Chromebook, that would be something.
