I'll do the tutorial if I can ever figure out the last step.

I'm having the same problem. After enabling Enhanced File System it now shows up but it won't let me click on it.
I have the same problem too! And I really want to not have to use my other computer.. please let me know! The Chrome Ninjas haven't even answered my question.
we have chrome ninjas?!
No seriously, I am having the same issue, I'm using the app FIABEE, when i select devices the flash drive doesn't even show up, but when i select to upload a file I can see the drive but I cant select it. Anyone reported this to google yet?
Yep, reported it already. Things like this it's really important to let them know about (even though something as major as this I'm sure they are already aware of).
Thank yall for starting this thread and posting to it. I was having the same issues! I had already complained to google about it before I even read this. >.<
This support isn't fully implemented yet in this build, we'll have to wait for updates.
If your second part of the question was about the memory in the machine itself, you can see all of the details by going to chrome://system
Follow carefully to get to use your sd card on chrome OS.
Click Computer
Then Click Control Center
Then Administrator Settings
scroll down to where it says system and click on partitioner
a dialog will pop up when it opens just click yes
Next click on unused devices in the left navbar
then in the list of devices you will see your device your gonna right click your device and hit edit
itll open up and towards the bottom itll say mounting options click on mount partion
after that where it says mounting point type in /d or /e or /f or /g which ever you want it to show up as on your desktop. Then click finish and apply it and go to desktop. you will probably get a error message saying what ever letter drive is already mount just ignore it. there you go you can now access your pictures and videos.
