Platform versions: 1412.121 and 1412.123 for Chromebooks (Acer AC700, Samsung Series 5, and Cr-48).
The following method seemed to force an update.*Power down the Cr-48 by holding the power key down, start it back up and go to Wrench > About Chrome OS and the update started.

The Beta channel has been updated to 17.0.963.38(Platform versions: 1412.121 and 1412.123) for Chromebooks (Acer AC700, Samsung Series 5, and Cr-48).
This update fixes a number of stability and UI issues.
