Ok, so I made it through the resizing of partition and copying of c-state and c-root to their respective partitions. Now i am supposed to remove the usb key and update grub with the command sudo update-grub. Sudo doesn't seem to work in xfce but if I enter su and then my password I can make progress....but not with this command...update-grub.
I am using the instructions from http://chromeos.hexxeh.net/wiki/doku.php?id=multiboot
Step 4 update grub.
If anyone can lend me a hand I would greatly appreciate it.
Cheers, Dan
I have since learned that the PCLinuxOS distributions, of which I am using Xfce (Phoenix Mini), do not allow for the sudo command due to "security reasons"
"Sudo doesn't work, by default, in any PCLinuxOS version. It is a security threat when used as the *buntu versions use it, so disabled in all our versions. "
Can anyone help me proceed from the update grub stage of hexxeh's instructional? I would really like to have a taste of Chromium OS!
