Exclamation I'm pretty sure I completely bricked the cr-48

Ok so here's what's goin on:

I have the "Mario Pony 6101"

I previously flashed to the Insyde BIOS; no problems...

I installed Ubuntu 10.10 via USB drive (dedicated all 16gb to OS); no problems...

Decided that I wanted to "dual boot" between Chrome OS and Ubuntu 10.10, in which I went to reflash the BIOS to the original state from my back up.

Flashrom stated the flash was successful.

    Restarted the cr-48, no screen.

I have an LED lit up on the power button, fan is running, and I've tried to push the "reset" button underneath VGA port.

I've pulled the bottom casing off to check LCD cable, it is firmly attached to the mobo.

I've noticed that when I attempt to power on the CR-48 after depressing the "reset" button and power button simultaneously, my screen flashes for a split second and then it's back to a completely blank screen.

    Any suggestions?

JS, I have no help for you but I wanted to say I feel your pain. I would be totally bummed out if that happened to mine. Here's to hoping that one of these smart geeks around here has a fix that works for you.

Anyone know if it's possible to Flash a BIOS through a cat-5 cable (ethernet) over a network? If that could work I believe that could save my cr-48....

Wait I had a brain fart, no ethernet port, LoL. Let me rephrase the question then: Anyone know if it's possible to Flash a BIOS through a USB cable from another computer?

Your USB doubles as a LAN connector - you just need a USB to RJ45 adapter...

    Probably not much use though?
