From the looks of your pictures it would appear that the usb drive you have in there doesn't have ubuntu on it. Only chrome/chromium images come up with those options from what I have seen. An ubuntu usb would just start booting into live mode and not offer those options.

Yea, that looks like a recovery SD for ChromeOS. you really need an alternate disk that can Boot Ubuntu.. I played around with the insyde BIOS till they annoyed me. then switched back (Whoo.. that'sa doozy)

Question is is thier a program that I could wipe the SSD clean and install chrome and unbuntu ? I have the luigi bios but I can only get into the boot with the chrome OS on a USB drive it won't boot to ubuntu

I should have never flashed the bios.

Hey just wanted to update this saying I had gotten ubuntu running by using linux live usb creator > http://www.linuxliveusb.com/

I also wanted to mention I'm still trying to do a full restore even thought I could boot to either chrome or ubuntu

The stock chrome os [the google version that ships with the cr-48] will not install with the alternate bios on there, but you should be able to install a chromium os image from hexxeh or ubuntu.
Doesn't seem to be working for me. I renamed it and set the permissions, but when I reboot its still the same ol' custom BIOS
