I joined this Forum some time ago but never formally introduced myself! I am most active in another forum, Chromebook Central, which is the original ChromeOS forum for the CR-48 Pilot Program. My name is Susan C.; I am a "young" (lol) granny and mommy; Ava is my lovely little grandaughter; she's turning 2 this December. My son, her daddy, Eric, is my original pride and joy! Eric will be 29 (on my! Time really DOES fly!!) in February, 2012. I have one pet dog (pet person really!) named Butchie (Butch Cassidy....and the Sundance Kid is who he's named after~that's my last name, too!) I love my CR-48 and plan to purchase another Chromebook in the near future. I just love the Chrome OS and Google Chrome browser. I have enjoyed the little trip I have taken this year along with Google, watching Chrome grow and improve as time went by. I still use and like my Windows computer, as there is a place for it in my life, too! it's just that this little baby here (CR-4 is so quick and fast to get online and do what I need to do! I hate waiting on my Win laptop to fire up now that I have experienced Chrome OS! It seems to take FOREVER these days! Enough about me for now. Let me just say that I hope to be able to participate more in this Forum and get to meet some of you. I look forward to "chatting" and helping (or receving help!) with all of you!

Welcome, Susan! I'm still using my CR-48 pretty often as well. It's great to be able to just open it up and instantly be ready to go! I have to say that the thing has somehow managed to stand up to quite a beating as well - my 18 month old son loves to grab the lid and pull it straight backwards while I'm using it, and push his fingers into the screen whenever he gets a chance - but it's still running great!
