    From Mac to Chromebook (introduction)

    Hello all,

my name is Dan and I just came from a 2008 Aluminum Unibody Macbook. Why did I do such a thing you might ask? Well it was getting old and actually kinda malfunctioning...so I had to. Then I decided this will be a good option to try out. If I like it, I'll keep it. If not then I'll resell it

I was attracted to the price, simplicity, and the form factor. Looks fawkin juicy.

Also, I want to try and install other OS's...I will be checking out that part of the forum later to see if it's possible on the Samsung Chromebook (I've only been seeing cr-48 tutorials).

    I'll enjoy my stay

Hello Dan and welcome to the Chrome OS Site!
Anyway, it's good that Chrome OS crossed your mind to be as your next OS instead of highly rated Windows out there..
It's a really exceptional OS for me .. And I hope you will enjoy it once you get it one day...
    Welcome to the board Dan!

Other OS's are nice, but I always find myself returning back to the original ChromeOS on my CR-48.
