Hello everyone,
The purchased Samsung Chromebook arrived today and I am now using it with some feelings of disorientation. I work with a lot of computer O/Ss as part of my job but this is the strangest new experience I have had. I have bought this for my wife to rather perversely be used for mainly offline work as she needed something to type on with a good battery for taking notes as her hand now cramps up when she writes for a long time. I have managed to get the offline mode working well enough but I have met with a peculiar problem in that I cannot remove docs from the offline area in Google drive. I can select the docs and remove them, whien I am online, and they disappear. When I am offline and I select the docs I cannot remove them as the trash can does not activate. Even after I have removed the docs within the online mode the docs return to the offline area at a later point even though they temporarily seem to disappear. Has anyone got any input on this? How can I remove the docs. I have looked in the File manager but this does not seem to show the offline files but only files which have been specifically downloaded.

Yuck!

I am on the following release

Version 27.0.1453.116
Platform 3912.101.0 (Official Build) stable-channel daisy
Firmware Google_Snow.2695.117.0

I hope you can help
