    Thinkpad Z61m (9450-35U)

It's not running an official ChromeOS build, but it runs ChromiumOS very well and I post my first impressions of the OS in the new ChromiumOS Group.

Everything works but the fingerprint reader, for obvious reasons, but it would be cool to one day sign into my Google account with my fingerprint once again!

I have exactly the same wifi adapter and exactly the same problem.

How is the Radeon (correct me if I'm wrong on this model) for graphics rendering? I tried a computer with a Radeon with some of these Chromium builds and it stunk. The best results I've gotten are from the X3000 Intel GPUs.

I don't have a Redeon card in my build, it has the stock intel chip, that works great. It plays Live For Speed on Windows no problem, and it had no issues running in CrOS.

Ah, I actually read the specs...

Lenovo Support - Detailed specifications - ThinkPad Z61m

GMA 950 and optional Radeon. Sweet.

I booted Chrome on a couple of different similar machines, one with an Intel PM/GM965 and one with an Intel X3100. The X3100 is good with rendering, faster than the GMA3150 in the Cr-48.
