gobi 2000 3G GPS card question

question is it possible to use this gobi 2000 inter graded card in another notebook that has the same card and still get the free service from verizon

in other words the lenovo thinkpad X120e takes the same gobi 2000 3G GPS card as this CR-48 I was wondering if it's possible to switch cards and get th free verizon on the lenovo ?

Yes or No ! Always Thinking !

That's a very good tester question. Seems like the account would follow the radio. If you have the Lenovo, check your current data usage, pop the radio into the Lenovo, use it for a while and put it back into the Cr-48. Check to see if any data came off the 100 Mb and let us know.

Ah, I see. Maybe someone else can come up with a knowledgeable answer. Hopefully.

I have the gobi 2000 working in windows 7... is there a way to know how much data I have left? And will Verizon automatically charge for overage?

I would like it would work in the other as the radio would just follow. I believe Verizon just kills the service after the free data is used and offers a screen to upgrade for more data.
