    Goonie, I have an excellent connection here, but, yes, I have noticed this problem with the netbook and have sent feedback. Be sure to report your issues as well. That's what this all about :-)

    I've notice it drop when waking up from standby, sometimes it takes up to 20 seconds for the wifi to reconnect. I don't get any type of message, it just won't load anything.

    I don't know if it's normal but I sent in a bug report for it anyway. Always good to make sure they know about these things.

    Try checking your encryption on the router. I've heard that AES or WAP seems to work much better for Chrome OS.

    So it might not be just my oddball method of piping 3g to wifi.

    Network 'map':

    3g -> Windows XP Box -> Linksys WR54G Router -> Cr-48 'Crate'

    If Crate isn't used within minutes of running network setup it can connect to wifi, but that connection between wifi and 3g doens't happen.

    I found network drops out with web128 but works fine with wep64. Reported of course. It gets to about 40k packets out then slows to a crawl if any thing happens at all.
