I'm using chrome os vanilla (tried diffrent builds) from a usb disk (intergral 8gb).

when i save a file (jpg, png, mp3, etc.) and try to open it. the media player fails the picture viewer won't open, etc. when checking "inspect element" it seems that core apps have no acces to read/write from the downlaod folder, sd-cards or other usb disks.

is there a way to fix this? (i got media player and fileexplorer enabled in about:flags).

(ps flowbuild is way behind the curve I'm not going to use that)

Maybe try this; Accessing data on USB or SC card I just discovered it last night after an extensive Google search. Worked for me.
