    Dell laptop Chrome OS 0.8.552

I am running a Dell laptop with Chrome OS but I fail to get any sound. I have played with Linux before but still have little to no knowledge or understanding of it. How can I fix this?

I cannot post a link to my google doc file. nor can I attach the file here (too big). I'm not sure what part of the sys info would help.

    really stuck now.
    Thanks
