**Make sure you're in developer mode
You can either download your preferred photo from the web (Picnik app allows you to take a new photo with the built-in webcam) OR you can copy it from USB/SD. The default size for the photo is 256x256px and in a .PNG format.
-Web:
1) Right click on the PNG photo and click "Save image as.." Change the picture name to youremail@gmail.com.png
2) Save it to your "Downloads" folder
3) Enter root shell by:
CTRL+ALT+F2 (--> key), then type 'sudo su -'
4) Type this into the command line:
5) Rebootmv /home/chronos/user/Downloads/youremail@gmail.com.png /home/chronos
-USB/SD:
1) Insert USB/SD
2) Enter root shell by:
CTRL+ALT+F2 (--> key), then type 'sudo su-'
3) Change directory to your USB/SD:
(If you don't know its name you can cd to /media and then 'ls' to list folders)cd /media/yourUSBorSDcardName
4) Type 'ls' to list the files on your USB/SD once you're in the proper directory (folder)
5) Type in:
6) Rebootcp myPreferredPhoto.png /home/chronos/youremail@gmail.com.png

ls - List files or folders within the current directory
cd - Change directory
mv - Move
cp - Copy
sudo su - Superuser privileges
**If you are replacing your profile picture use the methods above but first move or rename your current photo:
mv /home/chronos/youremail@gmail.com.png /home/chronos/user/Downloads
